Russ has moved to the step down unit and is off all IV meds. He is looking much better and was happy to be watching the Dallas Cowboys win. Still only 4 visitors per day.

    I was Lisa's "buddy" at the hospital today. We arrived to find Russ in great spirits... possibly because his roommate is a Dallas fan. Russ is an awesome man and my whole family adores him. See you later this week, Russ, and we'll put some stars on those blue "boots" of yours. xo - Sam
